We are not a team. We are community.
About This Community
This space is dedicated to fostering a multidisciplinary community of wellness practitioners, clinicians, and creative professionals interested in exploring the intersection of creativity, mental health, and emerging therapeutic practices.
Why Community, Not Teams?
While multidisciplinary teams represent a step forward from the isolated silos that often plague traditional wellness settings, they are not without their challenges. These structures can unintentionally perpetuate hierarchy, territorialism, and competition. Communities, on the other hand, are organic, inclusive, and collaborative.
A true community operates like the villages of old—an interdependent network of individuals from diverse backgrounds, skills, and perspectives who support and challenge one another. This group is inspired by that ethos. We aim to build something porous and dynamic, where ideas can flow freely, growth is shared, and everyone contributes to a collective betterment.
What We Do
This salon draws on the rich tradition of the salons of old: intimate gatherings where thinkers, creators, and innovators convened to exchange ideas, refine their crafts, and challenge each other in a spirit of mutual respect.
This is an informal, invite-only gathering of like-minded clinicians working in this space, who possess the competence to engage at the level of the synapse and the intellectual security and sophistication to hold space for the level of the soul.
Each meeting will be held in our comfortable therapy room in West Perth, fostering a relaxed setting where clinicians can speak openly and in confidence, explore overlapping ideas, and even disagree without being disagreeable.
Many events in psychedelics skew either too esoteric or too clinical. This salon counters that false dichotomy, emphasising the essential overlap between these two approaches.
The goal is to build a community of practitioners who approach this work with humility and curiosity, rather than hubris and certainty.
Each meeting will conclude with a collectively decided topic for the next, and as trust develops, participants can relax their clinical identities, lean into ignorance, and transcend biases.
Come and be part of a supportive community of consummate practitioners who challenge, consult, support, and refer to each other.
Creativity at the Core
While psychedelics may often be the starting point for our discussions, they are far from the only focus. Creativity—its cultivation, application, and impact—stands at the heart of our work. Creativity transcends professional silos, defies rigid classification, and drives meaningful breakthroughs for both practitioners and clients alike.
This community values the power of creative expression as a tool for personal and professional growth, offering a space for practitioners to reconnect with the essence of their work and uncover new pathways for supporting clients in living rich, fulfilling lives.
Legitimacy and Boundaries
We operate entirely within the bounds of the law. The solicitation or discussion of illegal activities is strictly off-limits. Our focus is on legal, evidence-based approaches to wellness and mental health. Psychedelics, where relevant, are treated as a tool—a key that opens the door to the "inner mansion" of creativity and self-expression.
It’s not the key we celebrate, but the life it unlocks.

Music as Medicine
Music plays a central role in the psychedelic experience, shaping perception, emotion, and integration. Across wisdom traditions, live and interactive music has long been used in ceremonial settings to guide and deepen the journey. Today, modern psychedelic therapy incorporates carefully curated soundscapes, blending contemporary research with traditional approaches.
This event will explore the transformative power of music in psychedelic spaces, the importance of set and setting, the role of bespoke musical experiences, and how different styles of music align with specific psychedelic compounds. We will also discuss the protocols established by modern studies and the significance of respecting diverse musical traditions.
In addition to these discussions, the event will feature live musical performances and sound baths, offering an immersive experience of music as a healing tool.

Support in Psychedelics
The Third "S": Support
In psychedelic-assisted therapy, set and setting are key, but true transformation requires ongoing support. This third "S" ensures clients integrate insights into daily life, fostering lasting change.
Through stronger collaboration, cross-disciplinary referrals, and post-session communities, we can create networks that empower sustained growth. Let's move beyond sessions and prioritise frameworks that turn breakthroughs into enduring transformation.

DMT - beyond the edge of the map
Reality Switches: A Salon on DMT and the Extended State
In this salon, we open a space for clinicians, researchers, and curious practitioners to engage with one of the most enigmatic compounds known to neuroscience and mysticism alike: N,N-Dimethyltryptamine, or DMT.
Endogenously produced and structurally simple, DMT is often dubbed “the spirit molecule” for its capacity to launch users into immersive, high-entropy states—experiences often described not just as visual or emotional, but as interdimensional. Unlike psilocybin or LSD, the standard DMT trip—when smoked or vaped—lasts only 10–20 minutes. Yet in that brief window, people report full contact experiences with entities, architectures, and entire non-human realities.
While much attention has been paid to its mystical and metaphysical implications, we now stand at the frontier of a scientific deepening: DMTx, or extended-state DMT.
This new protocol, pioneered by thinkers like Dr. Andrew Gallimore and building on the early research of Dr. Rick Strassman, involves administering DMT via IV infusion to sustain the experience—not as a peak, but as a plateau. This creates the possibility of a prolonged, stable entry into these extraordinary states—turning flashes of the ineffable into navigable terrains.
We believe now is the time for the clinical and therapeutic community to engage this topic seriously—not as hype, but as inquiry. We’ll explore:
What distinguishes DMT from other psychedelics—both chemically and experientially.
What DMTx is, how it works, and what it could mean for psychotherapy, neuroscience, and consciousness studies.
The psychological, ontological, and ethical questions raised by potentially spending hours in states that collapse our understanding of self, space, and time.
We will also consider:
What kind of preparation would be needed for extended-state sessions.
How clinicians can participate in the integration of such radically destabilising experiences.
Whether existing paradigms of “healing” and “therapy” are even appropriate frameworks for what DMTx may reveal.
This is not a trip report circle or a celebration of novelty.
It’s a space to explore a serious question:
What do we do when our tools take us beyond the limits of our maps?
About the Salon
This is an informal, invite-only gathering for like-minded clinicians exploring the intersection of neuroscience, therapy, and altered states of consciousness. We foster deep, candid discussions in a space that values intellectual rigour, humility, and curiosity.
Our goal is to create a supportive community where practitioners can challenge, consult, and collaborate—without pretence or dogma. Conversations often begin with psychedelics but evolve into broader, more enriching discussions.
This isn’t a clinical case conference, nor is it an esoteric free-for-all. We strike a balance between evidence-based practice and the ineffable, between rigorous thought and open-hearted exploration.
